Just get a set of stock rear springs from an auto parts store. That's what I did a few years back

Hey Mod.......it is a pain to run a 28 11.5 slick on the fox platform without modded the inner fenderwells. You could lift the rear, but then you make it harder for proper weight transfer.To run that tall and wide, you would have to shorten the rear end2 inches,massage the inner fenderwells or mini tube the car.

I take it you have an auto with 4.10's. You should be fine with a 26x9inch slick. You shouldn't run out of gear.
