Default quick question

would some crimped hoses coming from the 2 holes behind the TB that run into the heater core cause the car not get a temp sensor reading, in turn making the car run in "cold" mode?

p.s my heater core is BY PASSED

You need to loop those 2 heater pipes together, not just pinch them off. For the coolant temp sensor to work, you need to have coolant flow thru them, that is where the sensor is at. If you don't want to run those lines, just pull them out and take the sensor out and stick the temp sensor directly in the intake where you take the lines out. then plug the hose to the pump.

thanks

i fixed the hoses 2nite and car is running smooth. i was just wondering because the car was idling really high, and the temp reading was cold all the time.

i just wanted to make sure that was it and im not just getting lucky 2nite or something lol. ive been having BAD luck with the 5.0 this month [X(]
