04 cobra motor in Fox body?
 

How much does a cobra motor cost and how hard would it be to fit it in a 88-93 stang? I will have a shop do everything but was wondering how much the motor costs.

Cobra motor + tranny is gonna cost you AT LEAST 5k USED... New Cobra motor is listed for like $7k at most places.

Wow thats not as bad as i thought it would be, I thought it would be around 10-12g's for motor.

For all the money you would spend on that swap, I would just buy a 351, stroke it, and supercharge it. You could send a t-5 off to G-force and you would still have money left over for N20.

Well I was going to stroke a 302 to 347, do lower and upper intake, full exhaust, heads, cam, tremic tranny, supercharger, aluminum driveshaft, gears, basically all supporting mods for the F.I. 347. I figured I would get about 550rwhp with about 10k in mods maybe more, if I spend a big chunk on that for the cobra motor and do some minor mods i can clear that with lots of room to do more. Plus not to many people have a 04 cobra motor in a fox. Money really isnt a concern to me right now.

A properly set up supercharged 347 should run you higher than 550 hp.

This is not a daily driver but I want it to be for the street. With the cobra motor I have a better platform to work with IMO.
