Default OK im back. Its almost TAX time and I need HELP

I have a 1994 Mustang gt 5.0. The heads/cam/bottom end are stock. I am having trouble deciding what to do. I want to do heads/cam/maf/and a full tune this winter. (after just having a baby I cant get the whole thing done) (daycare will kill your wallet). So anyway I dont know what to go with as far as heads/cam/maf, I currently have an edelbrock performer 2 intake, with 1"spacer,70mm tb. etc.. PLease help!!

well sounds like you are on a budget, go with a lightning 90mm MAF (used) or C&L 76mm will do great (very tunable and room for expansion later). As for heads and cam, search ebay for a used set of AFR 165's( alot of people upgrade to 185's for s/c) or you can get GT40's (used) and have themmachined and pressure checked. This may help with heads ! As far as cam goes, the e303 is popular but it all depends on what heads you get... custom cam is always best. Others can chime in on cams since I'm not real familiar with them.Good Luck

Stock heads suck, keep saving a cam cant even help you with those big thermoactor bumps in our heads.

an HCI together will satisfy you like a shot of rum, with rye and simmered steak.

changing the cam alone will be more of a pita since you have to buy the gaskets seperately, remove the timing cover chain , chains and sprokets etc etc and only **** you off.

You dont have to go broke either

get em while they last, he accepts offers, tell him u got a new one on the way and extend the courtesy or make payments

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-F...spagenameZWDVW

summit has your gasket set for like $49 COMPLETE SET. Id buy a Trickflow One Cam or your choice, not exceeding a .500 intake lift nor .550 exhaust lift , as the power will be way up in the higher rpms, and not much midrange ramp.

You can get good power out of the stock heads if you'll get the "bump" ported out of them. Mine are ported and they produce good power throughout.

I ported my E7's. They feel pretty good, but I'd go w/ the Gt40's or P's if I were to do it over agian. Much better starting place.

I would go w/ the TFS stage 1 cam for any iron Ford head b/c it has a higher lift and longer duration on the exhaust side to empty out the cylinders.... I'm running the E cam and like it, but I wish I'd gone w/ the Stage 1.
