Default electrical??

When i turn on my headlights and sit at a light there is a big load on the alternator. If i turn on my wipers also, the charge goes super low. If i rev the car, the charge comes up. Do i need an alternator? Some info would be great.

stock 75 amp alternator isn't powerful enough, even stock. A regular replacement will do the same thing. Check the tech articles for '3g alternator install'. the 3g is stock on 94+ mustangs, 130 amp

I just ordered the 3g from PA performance. Great guys to deal with and can get you exactly what you need. It won't be as cheap as going to a junk yard, but they garantee everything for life (As long as it is installed correctly ect.). Was like 175 shipped for the 60 amp idle/120 amp 3k rpm version that you don't have to cut the mounting bracket for.
