best way for 350whp
i'm looking for ideas on the best way to reach about 350whp without nitrous for a DD. i'm not sure weather or not to go with a N/A 347 H/C/Ior just a 302 with a 10# supercharger, or what. drivablity and relibility are most important.

You could do a entry level sc with some mods and hit that number pretty easy. Definetly alot less work than a stroker too.
Novi 1000's and SC trims are good entry level blowers to look at.
Or like adder said... you could just do a nice h/c/i setup... personal preference... price comes out to be close.

i was also thinking of the 351 but i live in california, i don't think it would work with the smog **** here
mpg isn't too important as long as i can get like 12 or so.

if you gotta deal with the republic of kalifornia then yes......
get a "50 state legal" supercharger with a "CARB" number.
run about 10psi.
Kennebell s/c would be a good street brawler but cost about $3,500.
maybe put in an E cam or something for a few more hp.
should still pass smog with a good tune.

what kind of boost do you think i would need? i'll be doing a complete new engine so i'd probably go with gt-40 heads and intake with this route.

You can get a blower for alot cheaper than 3K.... you can pick up either of the two I posted above brand new for 1700-1900.
