RE: if you could change 1 thing?
I want my 5.0 to be in "new car" condition. Even if it were stock. I work at a dealer and i drive new cars all day and i wonder how the sn95 was brand new. I bet it was heaven my car squeaks, ALOT.

definantly a c-4 tranny. i cant hook worth a crap with the t-5 and i have to feather the gas when burning out so i dont over rev. with a c-4 i could stand on it and go through the gears on my burn outs.

They proved this month in muscle mustangs that t5's were faster though. but they do shock the driveline so its a little tricker getting traction. I think 5spds take more skill to drive and auto's should be banned from pro drag racing.

if everyone had to run t-5 it would be more intresting, right now i just roll out in first and go right to second. when i hit third its all over but thr crying. i barely reach 4th in the quater though.

With a auto it is easier to shift. Miss a gear with a manual and you are in a world of ****.
With an auto it does not shock the car (it actually loads the car), like it would if you drop the clutch.
With an auto you canload the car with a stall, again not slamming itlike you do with a manual.
With an auto you can hold the nitrous button all the way through the gears. With a manual you cannot and each shift (if you clear it cleanly) takes a tenth of a second.
With an auto you can leave the line on boost if you have a transbrake. With a manual you really can't without electronics.
With an auto with a transbrake all you have to do isrelease a button while having the pedel to the matto launch the car. With a manual you have to move 2 pedals, and maybe feather the clutch.
Iwill take a builtC4 with a shift kit, manual valve body, and a transbrake any day of the week overthe bestT-5, TKO 600, or T-56.
