The mustang sold. The guy sold after he accepted my offer. Even worse, he sold it to one of my so called friends. Just wonderful, huh? Anybody got a fox for sale?
Everything's for sale...if the price is right.

I am sad to say, but I lost a race to an Integra type-R. It had a b18c5 swap, and a TON of work done to it. The guy was running a hondata tuning system and dynoed the car at 243 fwhp... I was catching him on the top end, but he got away from me on the launch. My tires sucked, i spun... so ti was just a bad start.. In a real 1/4 mile it would have been closer because i would have had better traction. I gave the guy props though, because I was on his fender the whole time.
for future reference, a b18c5 is a type-r engine so it would have already been in there....the thing you want to really watch out for are crx's and the 92-95 hatchbacks with these b-series engines, they are the lightest of the hondas to recieve such swaps. Those little ****ers can fly when they have 200+hp engines in them. Its kinda funny b/c people think its take alot for these little hondas to run 12's but it really doesnt, it cost about the same maybe cheaper b/c you dont have to x2 for everything, like header, spark plugs ect and you dont have to really focus on the suspension as much or really at all if its just 12's you want to run. I have a friend thats expecting to have around 400-500hp on forged internal b18c1(gsr) engine, these are aluminum blocks and he wont have to worry about it splitting in half, all going into a car thats 2000lbs or lighter and this car will still be very reliable

Anyways it really sucks the guy sold the car, but whats worse it your friend baught it out from under you, what an ***. you what you have to do now, go buy a better stang and make it faster than his

Yeah, sounds like a good idea. Plus, there are way better looking ones out there. And it also says alot about the condition of the car. The guy obviously wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible, because he sold it the same nite as he accepted my offer.

Patients grasshopper. In the world of the Fox body there are always better deals. I waited a good 2 months until I found the right car. Although I don't know about your area but here (Toronto) you really have to wait to find something that is rust free. Save up a bit more, there are plenty of foxes out there at the $4000 range.
Good luck !!!
