What mass air meter do you order for 5L GT40 motor?
It has a 351 firing order and I don't know if I have the right mass air meter for the application. My mass air meter is for 88-93 5.0. Does anyone know the correct application I should be ordering?

RE: What mass air meter do you order for 5L GT40 motor?
Granatelli told me that the mass air goes with the computer which brings to mind a question. What exactly is the computer that is in the mass air conversion kit that I put into my truck for the GT40 motor? Is it a Mustang computer or is it something else created for the kit?

Ford offers 2 different computers in the MAF swap kit. Either the A9L or the A9P.
Both are pretty similar, the main difference being that the A9P is setup for an AOD car, and the A9L for a manual.
You will find the catch code (A9L or A9P) on a sticker on the computer.
The MAF/MAS in the kit would be a 55mm housing with an F1ZF sensor.
As for calibration...
Ford never calibrated ANY MAF meter for an injector size. Instead Ford calibrated it's MAF meter to the computer. There are seperate settings in the computer for the injector size.
Only the aftermarket MAF meters are calibrated to an injector size.
I agree with Adder, in that a 70mm MAF from a 94-95 Mustang (usinga F1SF MAS sensor) will be much better for your 351w build.
Purely by coincidence, this 70mm MAF/MAS has nearly the same calibration in the computer as the 55mm MAF/MAS. They are directly interchangeable, as far as the computer is concerned.
The only issue you may have is getting the flange of the 70mm MAF to mount to your existing inlet tubing.
