??? so it's... capable of pumping 255 litres per hour? but putting something like that in place of the stock one won't lower my mpg?

It is pretty easy just 2 bolts that holds the strapes. 1 8mm bolt that holds the fillerneck drop the tank1 ring type thing that holde in the pump, with a punch and hammer, tap the ring loose. pull the pump out of the hole (could take some twisting to free the filter). 2 hose clamps pretty self explanitory once you get it out. I would buy a 190lph pump. (I would not put in a new tank or anything crazy like that) do it yourself $80-$120 what ever you find a pump for. don't settle for a new stock one. aftermarket ones are about the same pricemaybe $20 higher.

Our mustangs have a fuel return system. The pump moves gas from the tank to the fuel rails. The injectors spit out whatever fuel is needed for engine operation. Any fuel that isnt used goes back through a return line right into your tank. I have a Walbro 255lph and i love it. The install isnt hard at all, just a little time consuming. I did it in about 4 hours my first time.
