Another post before got me thinking about that new Roush 427...anyone see that lately in the MM & FF? The blue one with the white stripe? Well anyway, I went to the track at Stanton Michigan and there was one there, being tested for some magazine. I got a good look at it and it was cool, but then I watched it run, and even ran agains it(lost, but not by much) and was dissapointed. I know they aren't set up for the track, but this car wasn't even hitting 12's. With 427 horse power, I would think that it would do that. The best I saw it run was a 13.2 at like 108 MPH. I just thought I would vent a little seeing how I was dissapointed.

i saw some on a trailer in tennesee last month while working at seqouyah nuclear plant. the guy that was driving the trailer worked for roush and that 427 hp is at the crank not the rear wheel, thats why they are overated.

Maybe it had a safe tune in it? What kind of car was it in?

its not a 427 bthough its just rated 427 hp at crank[:'(]thats why its not that fast. roushs 427 motors vare more than rthe 427 cars are worth.

sorry no pics of sticker but i know it was 23,000 on the sticker, i guess that could have ben before the roush add ons but it seems like that would have been noted. i only have pics of the 3 cars on the roush trailer and under carriages and such.

You sure it wasn't a V6 with the roush kit?
