Default Vibration-related questi&

Not that long ago I bought a 95 GT with about 120,000 miles. I noticed the engine got pretty rough at higher RPMs and I replaced the balancer. Initially it seemed a lot smoother but now I still think the engine seems pretty rough say above 4,500 RPM. It doesn't burn any oil, I've replaced the dist cap, coil, wires, fuel filter, etc. - it doesn't make any strang noises at idle or anywhere else.

Am I being paranoid? Is it just what a 5.0 feels like at higher revs after 120,000 miles? Could it be something else more serious? I don't have alot of experience with V8s - maybe I'm just paranoid.

I know the engine revs to about 6,000 but it feels like I'm torturing it about say 5,000. Up to 4,500 it seems really smooth.

It is the engine and not the driveline because it feels the same way in neutral w/o any load.

What do you think?

Thanks,

Sorry about the multiple posts - I kept getting an error message. I didn't know it was actually working!
