You can cut the Moroso's about 1 1/2 coils. Cut the end that is ROUND, not flat.
I used an abrasive cut off wheel. A chop saw could be used. DO NOT use a torch.
The way I compress the springs is to use a screw typr compresser that goes up the middle of the spring. I use an air impact on it as the spring will need to be compressed to about 12" (if I remember right). Once it's compressed, I use 2 short sections of chain and some NEW grade 8 bolts/nuts and get the chain as tight as I can. DO NOT loop the chains over the very last coils, put them 180 degrees from each other so you keep the springs compressed.
CAREFULLY, SLOWLY, loosen the compresser.
You are now ready to put the springs in the car. I put my floor jack under the 'A' arm and lift with it (you are suppossed to have the body on jack stands).
Get the shock thru its upper mount and just start the nut on it 2-3 turns then let go of the jack.
PM me if you are stilll having problems.
BE CAREFUL WHEN WORKING WITH COIL SPRINGS, THEY CAN KILL PEEPS......

I got them installed without cutting them. It was a major PITA. The car then sat about 4 inches higher then stock. After cutting 1 1/2 coils off the front sat at stock height in the front.

I used 2 spring compressors. I first used a very large set to get the complete springs compressed. Then I used a short spring compressor setto hold it in place and took the large set off. You have to unbolt the a arm from the cross member or you will never get them in. If you use2 jacks under the a arm it will make it much easier to get it back in place.

Gary; The 'A' arm stays on the car. The chains come off once you have the shock hooked back up at the top and the floor jack is under the 'A' arm and you are picking up the car with it. Unbolt the chains and they almost fall out.
BTW, I didn't mention it but you did unbolt the sway bar didn't you? If not do that first.
I took the sway bar completely off and put it in the trash.......
