Recently i took my car apart to install a new cam and my afr heads. I almost got it back together now and i lost the gasket for between the upper and lower manifold. I have to order a new one cause its the trick flow street manifold, and I was wondering if I could just use silicone to make a gasket instead. Would that work alright or is there a high chance it would just leak?

I would say put a thin of silicone on there, and it would be good. if it will seal a water pump it should seal an intake. I would do it. p.s. how do you like them afr heads, i am in the market for some aluminum heads.

NNNOOOO dont do that. wait and get the gasket. You could suck that s@#t in your motor and f it up.

^^^I agree. Get the gaskets and play it safe. I got 4 of them from Summit for pretty cheap.
