well take a look at obsole3tes mustang. it runs low 13s with nitrous and mid 13s without. he doesnt have forced induction either so its fairly easy. you should get a chip and intake manifold, dont forget a larger MAF sensor, those can be found at www.jdsperformance.com. a 73 or 76mm one maf. from what i read the only thing running off your engine is the alternator so there should be no reason you cant be in the 13s by now.

Well,,,
You have an exhaust allready so. Start with a 65mm throttle body because with a stock long block too big a throttle body can hurt torque along with throttle response.Get a cold air kit and a 73 to 75mm maf and some slicks.Oh ,and get an adjustable fuel regulator(not sure what pressure with your setup)and set it around 43 psi with the vacuum off.Play with your timing a little, between 12 and 14 deg. and set your tps at .98 volts key on engine off.
I dont know if you have a gear already..?
Have fun

You have to take the vacuum line to reference an accurate reading. The fuel guage will read different with vacuum off or on and you want to set your pressure with the vacuum line off.As for the setting, he has a basically stock engine and does'nt need too much more fuel.He will feel the difference on top end of the track because it wont fall on it's face like it did before.By the way, with some adjustable regulators you need to take the vacuum line off to get to the screw that does the adjusting like the crane model.I have the aeromotive model, it has a lock nut style but i still have to take off the line.

Get some gears and a trac-lock in it. Spend your time and $$ on the drive train and removing wieght from the car. Try to get the weight distribution to as close to 50/50 as you can...
