Default Exhaust Set up

Hey, im putting the 351w in my car, and I want an exhaust with a really good rumble. Right now I have an H pipe, and flowmasters with no cats, it sounds pretty good, but im sure it could be better. What do you guys think I should use, and what set up is gonna give me the most power.

Im gonna you bbk cermanic long tube headers, then should I go H or X pipe, and what mufflers would be good. Let me know what you think

Thanks

if you wanna keep a low tone, stay with an H pipe.. x's can get really raspy. Also, try SLP LM2's for a catback.... the produce a nice smooth tone

From what i've read here on the forums (and maybe a magazine somewhere) H's give the better sound (user preference of course). Lower rumble, yet clean. However, the X's give better power. I'm sure the difference is miniscual, but hey, power is power.

If i'm wrong someone please correct me.

i have mac equal headers and flowmaster muffs, i got the car with an h-pipe, bought an x-pipe....and put the H back on. i perfer the sound of the h-pipe and notice no real difference of power. the h pipe has a much lower grunty sound. it really resonates thought the floorboards of the car behind you.
