You have to understand that his car probably doesnt STILL run a 14.5 due to the fact that the engine is 20 years old. Even if he doesn't even launch, meaning a regular start then WOT when rolling, and granny shifts I think the EVO will kick the Pony's ***. This coming from an AVID Fox fan. Oh yea I also put 5000 miles on an 06 EVO MR. My .02

The regular 9's run anywhere from a 13.1 (the rs, the stripped down, light as a feather edition) to a 13.7 (the MR which is geared for street racing and 0-60). The RS is 4.6 to 60 if driven well but the MR is 4.4 b/c of its rediculously high stock rear end of something north of 4.7*. I have a buddy who says its 4.95 but thats redic. so idk. but the MR's lose it big time anything after 100 so if you get up there with a well modded 5.0 or a more than 2v 4.6 you can tie or slightly whoop the MR. My friends family is all rice ( a evo 8 MR and 2004 wrx with lexus's for the parents) and my friends 95 5.0 w/ bolt ons and H/C/I was neck and neck to 80 and then just pulled away after that.
