haha yeah works in my 87 gt as well, the low gas light is handy, that tells me to fill up within 10 mintues or i'm towing it home haha.

that was likely an option for gt's but could have been installed in an lx. mine are not hooked up, and btw the reason they are on all of them just like the wiring for the fog lamp switch and fog lights is because it's faster at the factory to install the same wiring in all cars hence it is cheaper for ford to build

i have it, but it doesnt work, so theres no need for it for me

89 lx and mine works because the check oil light comes on whenever i am a half quart low. Its odd that im the only lx that actually has the circuit with bulbs. Maybe someone changed the cluster from a gt for some reason who knows. I just had the cluster and hole dash out this past weekend changing the heater core, and yes it has 4 bulbs.
