My fog lights did that too, it wasthe headlight switch. If yours still don't come on after 3.5 hours, your headlight switch is fried.

Silly newbies, adder is most helpful, just with a lil color to mix it up. You'll figure it out....

So does this problem (losing headlight function) only happen if you use the fog lights? In other words, I don't use my fog lights. Is this problem likely to happen to me?

My headlights don't work at all. I took everything apart today. The connector that goes into the multi switch was melted to the multiswhich and the wires comming out of the connecter were a little melted.
