Default 1987 GT Help Needed

Hello all. My name is Francisco. I need some help on a 1987 GT. I am considering using this year / engine for a engine swap on my ranger. I see it is rated at about 220hp. Obviously a big plus is that it is EFI...I do not wanna go carbed. I don't know anything really about Mustangs in particular. I do know (from what I see and read i guess) that there is a huge aftermakert and oem market for these cars. If I went with this engine for the swap, is there a big enough martket 6that if I ever needed to swap, change, add power, or just aslk for help, that I would have no problem getting it? Also, a engine I am considering is a 1987 GT engine with about 80k on it. I think I COULD get it for about $300 or so. Good deal?

find one that is 89 or later and it will be MAF instead of speed density
