Default intake kit, deal or no deal?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ford-...QQcmdZViewItem
Hey I was just looking to do a complete upgrade on my engine.
Is this intake kit from eBay a good deal? It says it's all Ford.
Would it be cheaper for me to just buy all those parts separate or the same price with better performance? Would I have to do any kind of tune?
Sorry about there being so many questions but I'm 16 and I've only taking a couple classes in High School dealing with engines and what-not. I'm new to this stuff.

EDIT: for grammatical errors.

Where do I go about finding this deal? I've got 3 or 4 hundred dollars to save up yet so I have time to do some checking. I just threw that out to get an idea of what I'm getting myself into.

Nodeal. Spend $500 on a better intake, such as a Holly, Edelbrock, TFS, Gt40, Vortech. Spend the other $1000+a bit more on some better heads, such as TFS, AFR. Just my opinion.

But as it goes I'm kind of a Ford guy, I like the idea of just using Ford parts instead of having ten different brands of aftermarket parts. We'll see I guess.

I thinkthe trickflow top end kit is a much better deal. That ford racing kit is 2000 shipped and will probably only make around 270-280hp at the wheels with full supporting mods, exhaust, maf, tb, etc. The trickflow kit from summit is 2200 shipped comes with much betterflowing heads, cam, and intake setup, correct length pushrods, and all gaskets needed. The ford racing kit doesn't include wp and timing cover gaskets.

i purchased a set of 93 cobra heads ported: $450
gt40 upper & lower: $350
custom grind comp cam: $300
total: $1100

now i dont have the rockers or gaskets, but my heads are ported and i think that adds to my purchases
and i dont think rockers & a gasket set add up to 800.
and i bought these parts from this site except for the cam. thanks guys
