Default Interior painting.... ahhh..

Okay well as some of u know i have the 1990 hatchback mustang as my project..
well i have a black interior with a few tan peices and i wanted to make it all black..
whats the best way to do this? just scratch it up and then use plastic paint or what?

basically and scratch it up a little with some high grit sandpaper....if you go to the duplicolor website there is video tutorials on all their products

Yeah, what he said. Plus you need to use primer. Dont sand much, and use super high grit. They make a pruduct called "adhesion promoter", that is like a primer. But you cant find it in stores. I just use primer.

LOL, yeah. It is mine. I did it. Made the door panels too. Up close, there are some small blimishes. But they wouldnt have been there if I slowed down, and took my time. But it is my car, and I didnt care. Just wanted to get it done. Here is the before.

Here is a tip. You have to use fabric spray for the dash pad, or all things vinyl. Duplicolor makes some.
