Gears?

I have a 1991 mustang gt, I was reading the simple and inexpensive mods article from this forum and it says â€œA stock '87 to '93 Mustang came with 2.73 gears while some were optioned 3.08 and 3.27 gears.â€ How do I know if my car came stock with 2.73 gears or the optioned 3.08 or 3.27 gears?

or...you guys could just give heplful info instead of tryin to be mean to people that are lookin for help. hes new give him a break.

Look on the tag on the diff cover if its still there. Should say what it is.

fine.. sorry.. welcome to the forum

check your door code. you'll see something that says "axle" there is a one or twoletter/digit code. come back and tell us that code.
