Default Adjustable Control arms?

What are the benefit and withdrawls of adjustable control arms? I was wondering, the near future shows an upgrade on the stock ones, probably when I swap to 4 10's. Does it take a rocket scientist to dial them in?

Ahh didn't think about that, Do you think they would help get the tires off the ground?

Why do kids want to get their front tires off the ground?
All its gonna do is rape their front end..... and maybe their rear end!

LOL, I was curious of the benefits of them and why people upgrade to them, better traction equals some tire lift I would imagine. Thanks for the kids compliment!

i mean dont get me wrong, its all about weight transfer, but every few weeks we get a few posts on here "hey guys i wanna lift the front wheels" and thats all there goin for, gets old. look at all the real cars, the ones that run 7s and 8s... they lift the front wheels sure... but what, 3 inches off the ground? see, still optimal weight transfer(now yes i no there COMPLEETLY differant then our stangs, but its just a comparason)... so what im sayin is, if much rather lift them slightly for a little longer, and keep all that power movin the car, then waste the power making the front of my car go higher then the tree. make sense?

I totally agree on that type of setup, a friend of mine had that same type of setup on his old duster that ran 11.20's

But every time we got pictures back from the track of his duster, we were looking to see how high the tire were off the ground, even though we knew that was the most we were gonna see. I guess your right, its the kid in us that loves wheelies. It turns the crowds faces.

Before doing the wheelies, before adding adjustable goodies to lift the tires off the ground, take care of your uni-body. Get some subframe connectors. I am currently dealing with a car that got the cart before the horse, (no pun intended) and had cracked the body structure under the car.
