ORIGINAL: iceman89gt

yea, its a holley fuel rail, i may need to bump up the pressure a little.
try bumping it up a little and see what happens. so do you like all that holley stuff? my dad wants me to get most holley stuff when i build me a engine but not really sure. he said back in the day (late 70's to early 80's) their stuff was excellent and still are today but i am not too sure since i don't see many people running holley stuff. just wondering...

I know this might sound weird, but is your battery held down good? I had a simular problem with a lose battery.

drop the tank and pull the fuel pump assembly. there should be a cylindrical piece of sheet metal that completely surrounds the pump, about 8inches in diameter. it holds gas around the pump for hard cornering and takeoff's. they are VERY VERY prone to breaking in our foxes. i just replaced my tank 2 weeks ago to cure this. would bog out when i hit 2nd or corner hard.

I would take a look at the injectors. They might need a cleaning, but they might also be too small. What are your mods, and what size injectors are you running?

The ECU will adjust around any change in fuel pressure, so bumping the fuel pressure shouldn't cure the problem. Drop the tank and take a peek inside.
