problem at track tonight, need help
ok guys since the suspension has been redone on my stang i ran it for the first time tonight at track. heres the problem, best time was a 13.35 at 98.7 mph in the 1/4 mile. but that was because everytime i shifted into 4th gear my car would bog out completely then resume acceleration after just a bit.
it did it once in 2nd gear also. as long as i didnt speed shift it wouldnt do it,but that was killing me. it was really humid so could it have been the heavier air or what. im puzzled any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

i was just thinking with the air being heavier it might have affected my fuel to the point it was running lean. but heck i was launching at 4 grand with no problems.

i really don't think there's any possible way that could affect your trap speed so dramatically, it's like you're back to stock. i'd start with a compression check.

thats what i guess i will try tommorow, but it was affecting it that bad because thats how long the bog was and im right at the bottom of fourth gear about 50 or so feet from th trap. my 1/8 mile trap speeds were on the money. i even coasted through the 1/4 mile trap a couple times it was so bad.
