I got some battle boxes to put in and I was think about welding the torque boxe seamsup at the same time. Anyone else do this? Do cus you had to? Do you want to do it? I just wonder if it will really help.

What are the torque boxes? Why do you need to weld them up?

Is it really nessesary? I mean I will be putting in reinfocements, but I'm getting worried with all the talk as well. I was looking at them, and the metal is so thin, would it really even be worth it(wleding them)?

Torque boxes are the point on your frame where your controll arms mount up, they are prone to damage.

What is a battle box? I do need to put in some suframe connectors. I will be welding those in. Should I weld up the torque box as well? I saw in a Summit catalog that they have torque box plates. Where would these go?
