Just bought the '93 Mustang GT the other day. Didn't know the car was so noisy. For one, the car's engine sounds like it's right there beside me in the front seat. I can hear every noise outside the car with the windows and top closed of course. Are these cars supposed to sound this way? I hear wind noise (a LOT) when I am driving 40 mph and above. Tell me that these cars don't always sound this way. My weatherstripping looks ok for the most parts. How can I decrease some of my noise in the cabin of the car. Please help.

you might want to check for an exhaust leak if its that loud. these motors in these bodies aren't too loud unless your gunnin it.
my convertable makes wind noise, but i'm missing 6" sections of weatherstrip. its not a bad idea to replace it all anyway. chances are its stock.

Long Tube headers, OR pipe and 2 chamber flows or SLP LM1 and i promise, there wont be wind noise...

Well, I got some pics of it today. Here ya go. The car came with CAI, new Yokohama tires, Chrome pony rims, new paint, Alpine stereo with somewhat of a subbox with Alpine amp, Flowmaster exhaust. What do ya think?

Mine is loud, but I do not hear much wind over the 2 1/2 Flowmasters. It looks good. Did you buy it from the General Manager at Crossroads Ford, because I was in there a while back and he had one just like that one in the shop getting a new cluch put in it and he said he was selling it?
