Default After rebuild from 331 short block, car won't crank

I just got everything back together with a new 331 bottom end from DSS. Everything is hooked up but the H-pipe, i turn the key once dash lights come on, turn further and absolutely nothing happens, no sounds or anything. I am only trying to build oil pressure so i haveno plug wires or EFI fuse in. Any ideas????

sounds like you have loose connections, or bad grounds. there is like 3 ground wires commming from the battery. Is your starter still good? Solenoid bad?

Make sure everything is wired up correctly on the starter solenoid and starter.

ORIGINAL: G2298

is there a ground for the starter?
I believe so yes, because the electricity needs to have some place to go after going through the starter windings.

There should be a copper braided ground strap going from the starter to the car's frame or engine block to complete the path.
