yea they run stock what the ls1's run stock and that is 13.5 with a good driver so basically when u can beat a pretty stock fbody u can beat the 07 mustang gt
Uhhh i dont know about that. Fbod vs 07 GT with equal or near equal drivers and the GT will get killed. Best iv seen the new GT's run is a 13.7, iv seen an LS1 run a 13.1. But yea if you wanna win quick then pick up some 4.10's and a nitrous kit.
actually Evan Smith from MM&FF got the 05GT to 13.3 and an LS1 to 12.8

Well unfortunetly iv never seen evan smith drive, so that could be a big conspiracy to get people to think their cars are faster than they really are for all i know
LMAO! alright Mel Gibson, fair enough. ...i've never seen any stock LS1s hit 12s either (some were very close though), but i've heard about it many times. the thing is i doubt that a mustang magazine would give better times to a GM, not really to their advantage. In the lastest issue of MM&FF they incuded a DVD where they did bolt-ons and a supercharger install for the 05+ and they did track runs of before and after. completely stock he ran 13.32 @ 103.xx. with the bolt-ons and S/C it ran very low 12s.
Yea well magazines also hint that if i drink Bud Light then hot women will take their clothes off in my back yard, but i have yet to see it. Your right though, because it was in MM&FF i can believe the LS1 fbod ran a 12.8 stock. Plus i think it was 98LS1 who ran a 13.0 stock, so .2 better isnt that hard to imagine. 13.3 seems rediculously low for a stock GT, however Evan Smith kinda kicks @ss, so i guess i can believe that too. When i compare cars though i compare to the best iv actually seen though.
