It would introduce alot of body roll and it could cause a potentially unsafe situation. I don't care what the weather is like, you can never tell what the other jackass on the road is going to do. Removing the swaybar wouldn't do as much as say, removing the back seats, the spare tire and jack, things like that.
This is just my opinion, but i wouldn't F__K with anything to do with removing suspension or steering components, the Manufacturer put them there for a reason.
I've drivin a fox without it.
It likes to FLOAT down the road, like when driving a big boat of a car.
Only thing I can compare it to is my step-dads 80 something Grand Marquis
Yes you can tell if it is gone we dont run one.and it can get a bit wild if you get into a curve to fast or have to jerk the wheel to fast but after 3 years of not running one.I have got use to it we dont drive the the car but on nice weekends also.it is not the weight loss of the bar that is that great but as said it is the transfer that you will get the most out of.we picked up .5 of a second in the 1/4 by taking it off.but that is in a High H/P car with a auto trans.if you do take it off be very careful be for throwing the car around.
