Which intake manifold?

RE: Which intake manifold?
isn't the operating range of the holley a little high for street use. I was also under the impression that the gt40 didn't flow as well as the Performer and TFS street.[sm=smiley25.gif]

the best intake for u would either be the holley or gt40 those are prob the best two out there imo
maybe the edelbrock performer 2 but i think the other 2 are what u should be lookin at

RE: Which intake manifold?
I actually was reading somewhere that they tested out gt40, edlebrock, trickflow, and holley. The gt40 had more horsepower gains all the way to around 5500rpms. At that point the holley and edlebrock took over. The gt40 also had the most torque output between all of them.
Maybe that will help you decide depending on what your future set-up is.

RE: Which intake manifold?
if you need an E-CAM pm me.....the performer is a nice choice it works in your engine's rpm and the typhoon is about the same make sure you gasket match the intake....a nice dual pattern cam is nice the stage 1 would be the biggest I'd go for those heads
