AODE to C4

Is thisa tough swap? I have a friend considering it and is more than likely going to do it since c4's are pretty cheap.

Is it a direct swap? no computer crap needs done? just a driveline and the trans? what about the cross member?

He will need the driveshaft spacer from Ford Racing, and the cross member will need to be moddified. I used the stock one and welded a plate to it so it would extend further foward, then just drill the holes for the tranny mount in the plate. I don't think you will have to mess with the computer but I'm not positive. What year mustang is it and I am assuming it is a 5.0

I was going to do it i am about 80% sure you DO need to take the cross member out and relocate it. also you will need to have a drive shaft made, It wont be the same length. Im not shure about the computer? I built my aode up and threw a 2800 stall in it.
