Default Quad Shocks ???

Guys,

What companies make replacement quad shocks for the 87-93 5.0L, besides KYB? I saw 50resto has koni's but they are $108 ea! The KYB's there are $38 ea, trying to find better quality than the KYB, but not as high priced as the Koni's, lol, kinda in the middle. Trying to keep a budget, Thanks in advance!

You don't even need them since you've got the upr control arms, just get rid of em

I want to keep them,I realizeI don't need them, but I'm trying to keep all the original equipment, just upgraded. The stock ones are pretty beat and I'd like to replace them, thanks though.

It's not a matter of anyone knowing, or needing them as previously stated. And as you already quoted I've given my reasons for replacing them. Painting a non functioning part to look good, is like put a motor together and not using any RTV... in the end you'll have crap.
