+1 to adder... u can also take it apart to tell, but the case number is a prefered method.... and the WC is easier to shift and uses ATF not 80W90
stock t-5's take ATF too. that's what AllData says, and that's what my car says :P

lol, i was wonderin when some one would point that out, our stockers are wc t5s, and yea man, the one i just got was only 700 somethin, rebuilt. same ratings as stock

86 and newer have wc t5s, before that were just regular t5 trans.
