I bought me a 95 mustang gt converible 5.0 ho, one owner ( a lady) this car is very nice and untouched from its original condition, I just drove it home from Florida to Ky. drove sweet, everything is tight, and I have all the service records also, nothing but full synthetic oil since new, HERE is my question, I want to modifiy it some, nothing radical, I was thinking abouta cold air induction of some kind (what do you guys recommend) also maybe some flow masters or some other type (?) of free flowing exhaust. Hit me with your ideas, its is a 5 speed, Thanks

i'd say a bbk cold air intake.. sounds really good on my car..... magnaflows sound reallllllly good on the sn95s IMO... bump your timing too that'll give you some more power

+1 on bumping timing. A cai intake, pulleys, larger TB and MAF, gears for sure, and some headers along with good H pipe and mufflers. That should give a pretty good start.

OMG... GEARS, suspension, subframe braces.... convertibles flex alot so make it solid before trying to make power

original maf is 70mm so id hold off on that till later, definitly gears would be in the group of first things to do

what might my stock gears be? I am assumming it is posi ? Iwill check that one out tommorow :-)

what gear would be a good gear to upgrade too, I Plan on driving it as atoy not a daily driver

ya its a posi, id go with 410 if its not a daily driver regardless of trans, but you can argue about 373 to 410 all day long.

what would the stock gearing be on this 95 GT 5 speed? Also what do you think about the various brands of cold air induction? Thanks

i believe that stock could be 273 308 or 327 but i could be wrong. from what i understand ford but all them in in 95. but i am sure that someone will correct me if i am wrong. mine used to have 308

either a 2.73 or a 3.08 check the door tag under "ax" it has a letter, coresponding to which rear gear u have. o and just so u no, this is where it starts, give it a lil time ur be looking in to heads, intakes, s/c, etc etc
