Default sent her to the shop

sent the car to the shop this morning....got under it this weekend to do th oil pump and relized i was gonna need an extra hand., unfortunatly my go-to mustang buddy has been on a drinking binge lately so he dont get outta bed til 4 in the afternoon. so gonna have a local guy do it for under 500. i thought it was a good deal, please let me now if im wrong before he gets started. cuz i will put him to sleep if hes trying to rip me off.

500 sounds a little high, 350-400 is reasonable, theres a good amount of labor time.

its gonna be 487.03 with pump, pickup, shaft and pan gasket. guy said he gave me a break on parts...lol

thats something id never want to go back and redo

while he is there, you might as well have him put in rod bearings, one by one?


ignore the main bearings, mine had over 280k on them and they were in great shape, so I replaced em for nothing.[:'(]

What's underneath the oil pan on these fox bodies? I'm thinking just the steering arm, what else?
