RE: Pinging knocking and abrely starts
Im gonna check the fuel rail pressure today... i have a feeling my fuel pump slowly was wearing down... the only thing is that its a brand new 255lph bbk pump that should NOT have gone bad already...

it's not the line size but the size of the orifice in the fuel pressure regulator that determines if the regulator can bypass enough fuel to keep the pressure down so as to not cause a problem.

oh ok... well I got the car up and running again (it wouldn't start as of last night) and I can drive it around fine but it still falls down if you give it too much gas... I have the timing at 10deg. I have ruled out the fuel being a problem unless its in the pressure in the rails. Im going to order my spark plug wires in a few minutes and replace the spark plugs just in case...

why don't you borrow a fuel pressure gauge from an auto parts store and install it on the Schrader valve fitting on the main fuel supply line and see what the fuel pressure really is before you go out and buy more parts that you might not need. then adjust the regulator so the fuel pressure is around 40 psi and see how it acts then.

RE: Pinging knocking and abrely starts
A little bad news... With my pressure at 40psi in the rails and my timing base I still have some hesitation and defenitely not running as good...
I pulled a ECT code which i think means me ECT sensor is out would that affect my drivability that badly?
