did you try unbolting the shockoff the a arm???

94...we took the wheel , sway bar and tried to use a spring compressor,but the ***** wouldnt compress enough...and if it would have,the bolt at the top of the spring compressor wouldnt have let the spring come out.....also we did not un bolt the strut off the a-arm....is that where we screwed up ?

Unbolt thestrut, brakes, swaybar, and then undo the bolton the ball joint (cant recall the name right now, retarded i know) and popit witha hammer until the tie rod comes out. that will allow the control arm to move that much further out the way and you cangently tug the old spring out. The higher the car is jacked, the more you can get the arm down and out of the way making it much easier to take out and install the new one.

ALWAYS have a jack under the control arm! And sorry for the bad spaces...the spacebar onmy buddies computer is fugged.
