jh what the other guy said is right... if you take all the crap off the a arm and unbolt the strut the spring will come out with out the compressor... just use a jack to SLOWLY lower the arm so the spring doesn't fly out (a coil spring can KILL you if it comes flying out) if you use the compressor with this method it will reduce the chance of the spring flying out (still use the jacktho)

I used a tiedown strap and strapped it to the spring from the oppisate(SP?) side of the car. Just incase it came flying out. Worked for me G/L and be careful. It can kill you. I have dne it quite a few times and I still get scared.

lmao@bpride......eh a little elbow grease goes a long way...course theres not one dent or ding on mine,so luckily with a little work it cleans up realy nice i think.
