ok i need any help at all i was isntalling a radio in my car and i popped the radio fuse now after the install i cant get the key out of the ignition. it wont let me turn it all the way back to pull it out. ive checked all the fused in the box they are all good. im soo fed up with it i have no idea whats wrong. i had another ignition lock from my old car that worked fine so i switched it out andit still wont let me take the key out. i need help because im parking my car at school with the key in it.

Did you press the little white button in the bottom of the steering wheel... lol thats all i can think of....and move your steering left and right.

Stupid question- is the car in park? If not the key wont come out.

I know on an automatic you need to put it in 1st to pop a deck in with the stock shifter.

if this is right ^^^^ then maybe you knocked the shift sensor a little and it doesn't know the care is in park

OK EVERYBODY ITS IN PARK LOL. it will let me start the car but it wont turn back all the way to pull the key out. IM LOST

same thing happened to me. the pins inside fell apart. i had to have the car towed had a mechanic deal w/ it. he had to take off the steering wheel to remove lock and pins. so he installed a new lock and gave me a new key. costed me alot cause he spent alot of time doing it. It totally sucked.. especially because it happened on the 4th of july, so it's likely that thats what happened to you

Well you do know about the little button on the bottom of the collum that you have to press in to allow it to turn out. I am guessing so since you have quite a few posts on here, but just a thought.
