almost hit a telephone pole
was goin down a nice smooth road so i get on it and the stang lost traction no idea how i was only at like 1/4 throttle and she starts sliding. i pull the ebrake and try to straighten out keeps goin sideways and i see a telephone pole right in my direction so i pull the wheel opposite way and i swear i could have touched that pole with my head if i stuck it out the window.

it was definitely a learning experience!
i have sand bags and crap back there to help with the traction too...
honestly never had the car just spin out on me like that.. just glad my car is perfectly fine lol

the sand bags hurt you trying to pull it back.... when your sideways NEVER pull the ebrake only makes things worse... and lightly press the brakes, and feather the gas as it starts to come back, worst thing to do is use and ebrake or hit the brakes to much

Yeah'... the e-brake will make you feel like your rear is on ice. Like said above, let off the gas. If you are to side ways to save it, the e-brake will bring you all the way around. But you really not need to do that, unless you are trying to show off.

the all the way around thing saved me a few times... but i mess around alot in closed areas so i know how to control my car under any condition.... i'm sure 93LX does to the ebrake is just a natural reaction

Plus, keeping on the throttle and keeping your tires spinning can soften or keep the chassi from poping back straight really fast. For some, you can pop it back straight to fast and possibly under or over steer it. Which can cause you to fish tail. But, if you dont over steer and throw it outa' whack. You should be safe letting your tires catch. Soft suspension can make that worse pop back worse. (I was hesitant to write that one, cause some may not get that and think I am talking about drifting or something.)
