Bad or disco'd O2's will jack w/ your fuel also. I just replaced a bad O2 that was causing the ECU to think the pass side was lean so it was dumping fuel into that side. Runs great now.

Well I would start with the easy stuff first. Seems funny you didnt notice it until you were doing cookies in the parking lot! Did you ever think to check the o-ring on your filler neck that goes into the tank? Maybe it was pushing gas out of it. It is on the passenger side. Very likely especially if you have had your tank out and didnt replace it. And still likely if you did replace it. JMO

i noticed it earlier, like 2 months before that, i just got sick of the interior smellin like gas when i would get into it. i ordered new O2 sensors last night, so ill go from there

I didn't see an exhaust leak mentioned...
A leak in the header gasket or flange will allow fresh air into the exhuast.
The fresh air gives a false lean signal via the O2's.
Swapping the O2's (right to left) will help narrow down the problem.

the only leak is that little exhaust line that goes to the smog pump. i just put new headers on while i put on the new O2 sensors, so i got rid of the leaks...again. it runs smoother, no gas smell and its faster, which i know is mostly headers but its smoother during acceleration.
