Which gauge series do you run?
Hey everybody, I'm looking at putting some aftermarket gauges in the 5 Liter this winter and wondering what series you guys run. I am going to go with Autometer Full Sweep Electric gauges( I know, pricey as can be, but I want the oil pressure reading to be very accurate and not have oil coming into the cab of the car). I was thinking of the NV series because of the white face and green indiglo back lighting (to match the stock lighting)so that the whole face lights up, not just the edges. I'm open to suggestions though and would love to see pics, night pics would be cool to see too.
PRO50, your gauges look sweet, what series do you run?

pro comp ulta lites. Love them! (have a white car though, understand the black gauges with a black car). I still need to post a pic of my cluster with the autometers but I can't figure out how to get the pic in my post......

To those who don't have NV or C2 gauges, do you find them bright enough at night? I too like the look of the Pro and Sport Comp but Im a big fan of the indiglo backlighting and white faces, unfortunately, the C2 and NVs have the chrome ring, I think the black or silver looks much better IMO.

I have the NV. I went with those also for the green back lighting(close to stock) They are brighter than hell! I wouldnt put them on a pillar mount, I think they would be to bright in your face at night! JMO

I figure the NV or C2 might be too bright if mounted on the apillar like 93must said, but if I did that I think I would put the Autometer LED dimmer on it, which I think would help, dimmer for normal driving, brighter for cruising and hot doggin or whatever. I did see the new Ultralite 2s, they look pretty cool, they are silver faced and go to blackfaced w/ white lettering at night, not sure how good that reverse lighting works though.
