Default Cleaning TB ?

I was cleaning out my TB and got it all nice and clean inside, got out all the gunk and such. While wiping it down a final time i decided to read a lil yellow sticker on it the outside that i noticed before but never took the time to read. It says from what i can tell " do no clean inside throttle body or adjust stop screw. speacial coating on throttle body plate and ......the last work i cant make out cuz it worn "

So is it bad that i cleaned it out ?

Also have a question about painting it. If i take off the sensors and tape off what needs to be tapped off will it be fine ?

oooo i wouldn't have used degreaser, that might make it run a bit funky for a little bit. carb cleaner is A-OK tho.

Well it'll be awhile before im gonna crank it up. Prolly another 2 weeks, and the TB has been out since nov. of 05, so the whole motor hasnt ran since then. I wiped it down real good too, so everything is dry everywhere.

What about painting it, it is worn lookin, and want everything to look all new again. Think that is a bad idea ?
