Default Should I replace my weatherstriping (convertible)?

I recently purchase a 93 lx convertible. I know the fox convertibles are noisy anyway but I'm not sure how much is normal. I'm considering replacing the 5 main top pieces of weatherstrip; header, top sides/extensions, and a-pillars.

Here's what I have going on. At any speed over about 30mph I have noise over the windshield and I can feel a draft. Also, there seems to be very little sound dampening from behind me. Wind and outside noises seem to be most noticeably coming from the rear of the cabin. I don't have any leaks.

Can I expect new weathership to fix/help with this issue or is it a waste of money? How do I tell if my old weatherstrip is worn out?

The guy I bought it from said it was a new top. It's in great shape so I have no reason to doubt him.

Saltytop, how'd you know I was gonna ask the same question? I just purchased a 93 Cont GT last week and can feel the cold draft in the car when at speeds over 40mph. Wondering if this is usual or not. My car's top looks relatively in good condition. No tears or rips. Weatherstriping maybe?

You could go slow, but that would be no fun. The moonroof in my '89 had a leak and it had a lot of wind noise, so I went ahead and replaced the weather stripping, I also had some laying around so it was no cost to me. It was a lot better. I don't know how much that will help your vert though
