So what is the quality of the whole mallory brand?
My aunt works for Mr.Gasket so I can get some stuff through her and get a little bit of a discount.... but I dont really know much about it, so I was wondering if mallory is good or should i stick to msd???

THANKS!!!!1

I've used several of their coils with great success. I've heard good things about them, and most of the guys that i talk to that have used Mallory have nothing but good things to say.

Whay are you planning to do, if you don't mind me asking?

Well I have a plan to rebuild my car totally. But I am going to be doing this as I get the money. So as of right now all I have is the short block that I am using and the headers and the water pump.

The mallory products I plan on using are the entire system; Distributor, ignition system, ignition coil, wires, fuel pump, and feul regulator.

One more ?, mr. gasket sells accel too, I heard that accel isnt really a great brand........ whats the deal with that?

i was looking at some accell wires before i got my msd's....they where $50 for wires that had 5000-7000 ohms of resistance per foot. what a rip.. i would buy accell.

as for mallory stuff. my old truck had a mallory tach and i have a mallory vacuum gauge in my mustang. i know those are things your looking to get but they both worked great. ive heard mallory and msd are about the same quality wise

I would use Accel before I would use Mallory. Mallory has been around for 60-70 years and USED to make some fine products untill about 15 years ago when it started to turn to crap.
