85 GT Front Spindles refurbished

I am painting my front spindles and dust shields and was wondering if anyone knows where I can find the thin foam type gasket that goes between the spindle casting and the dust shield? I am not sure why this is even there but probably for anti-vibration purposes.
Any suggestions?
