Tried everything, still no luck

RE: Tried everything, still no luck
At some point, we have gotten virtually every code possible. The sensors and connections to the computer have been checked and rechecked. They all check out. I agree about the distributor, the symptoms do lend to that conclusion. I just don't think he would make that mistake.

STOP
if you have gotten alot of codes you have a break in the harness, bad connection, loose pin in the salt and peppers or ground out.
you see how all those sensor run off the same wire at bottom? id start at pin # 47 the black/white wire(common fault on new harnesses, happens alot at our service station when repairing wrecked vehicles)

I think you may have ment pin 46? However, I agree with you and any time I have had an electrical device, computer, etc., behave in a completely whacky way it is usually a sign of a bad ground.

I was gonna sy try using a known good ECU and see if your problems still exist. Definitly check the ground. Also, if the motor you have has an aftermarket cam it could be using the 351 firing order. Happend to my buddy on his 93 LX.
