I should be gettin an 88Gt tomorrow. I'm just kidna curious what this car will be capabel of. With 3.73s, drag radials or the like, trick flow cam, not sure which on, I think the 2nd out of the 3, trick flow intake upper and lower, headmen headers. Any Idea what it would run in the 1/4? Maybe with some minor suspension mods? Sorry to be so vauge, just curious what to expect out of it.

yes that is fairly vague indeed, it could be annywhere from low 14s to high 12s depending on you and a bunch of other stuff.

hmm, higher than I was thinkin. Isn't there a guy with just gears, suspension, and tires runnin high 12's?

not as far as I know, I think he was stock motor no juice. I could be wrong though.

When I had modsappx. the same, my car went 14.3's on street tires. If you have drag radials andyouknow how tolaunch, you should be able to see a 13 second run. Anywhere in the 13.8-14.5 would be pretty good depending on your location. Some stock cars run 14's as is, my car went 15.2's when it was stock with 2.73's.. Went 14.8's when I got the 4.10's..

EDIT: Here's a video of my car. This was my old engine before I blew it up. It had 127,000 miles on it. This launch propelled me to a 1.8 60ft. Not bad for a tired old 5.0
